The school took part in celebrations to mark the conferring of Royal status on the London Borough of Greenwich by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Colonel Cyril Young, Deputy Lieutenant for Greenwich and the Queen’s representative in Greenwich visited the school on 14 March 2012. There were exhibitions in the Information Centre of royal connections pupils’ work. Colonel Young spoke to a representative group of pupils, staff and governors and presented commemorative medals to pupils to mark the occasion.
